Mice carrying Tg(Hba1-Gfp)1Ew were treated with ENU. ENU induced a T to A transition in exon 2 that changes an isoleucine to asparagine in the highly conserved Forkhead domain. Northern and western blot analysis indicate this mutation does not greatly affect mRNA or protein expression. (J:99816, J:170710)
