Tg(Sox8-EGFP)LY179Gsat

An EGFP reporter gene, followed by a polyadenylation sequence, was inserted into BAC clone RP24-209I7 at the initiating ATG codon of the first coding exon of the Sox8 gene so that EGFP expression is driven by the regulatory sequences of the BAC gene. The resulting modified BAC (BX2321) was used to generate this transgene. (J:100256)
