Tg(Thy1-PSEN1)17-2Sqn

The human Thy-1 promoter was used to drive expression of a presenilin cDNA. Two lines were examined for their ability to rescue phenotypic defects in presenilin deficient mice. Ability to rescue phenotype differed somewhat but line 17-2 was the better of the two lines and was chosen as representative. (J:77306)
