Tg(Trh-cre)5Anh

The cDNA encoding cre recombinase was inserted downstream of the endogenous ATG codon in exon 2 of the Trh gene in a BAC containing the entire Trh gene and at least 30 kb and 40 kb of 5' and 3' flanking sequences respectively. The purified vector was used to generate transgenic lines. Two founder lines, 5 and 40, were subsequently analyzed. (J:162058)
