The insertion of Velocigene cassette ZEN-Ub1 created a deletion of size 1090bp between positions 44019058-44020147 of Chromosome 9 (Build GRCm39). The entire gene, comprising two exons, was replaced by a neomycin resistance gene and lacZ reporter cassette. RT-PCR analysis confirmed the absence of mRNA transcripts in epididymal white adipose tissue from homozygous mutant mice. (J:136110, J:237401)
