在前一个外显子上游和生物素结合域外显子下游位置插入了LoxP位点，通过带有Frt标记的kanamycin抗性元件。通过Flpe酶切重组，删除了Frt标记的选择性元件。这两个外显子通过Cre介导的重组被去除，这在任何翻译出的蛋白质中导致Asp865后的框架移位和终止密码子，从而产生缺失。免疫印迹结果显示，纯合小鼠肌肉匀浆中未检测到截短蛋白的表达。(来源：J:159285)
