在第二内含子插入了loxP位点，然后在第六内含子插入了loxP标记的诺卡因选择座。在产生嵌合小鼠前，通过在ES细胞中短暂表达Cre重组酶移除了诺卡因座，留下两个位于最终等位基因3-6外显子周围的loxP位点。3-6外显子通过Cre介导的重组被剪切了。（来源：J:69463, J:156864）
