The insertion of Velocigene cassette ZEN-Ub1 created a deletion of size 11155bp between positions 163663245-163674399 of Chromosome 2 (Build GRCm39). Exons 2-5, encoding all of the conserved protein coding regions, are replaced by a lacZ cassette. qPCR analysis confirmed the absence of mRNA expression in the tibia of homozygous mutant mice.
