BAC克隆RPCI23, 461E7通过靶向替换Aire基因的1号外显子全部、2号外显子和3号外显子部分，用包含β球蛋白供体/接受体座舱、G6pc2/GFP融合序列和SV40polyadenylation信号的构造进行了修改。生成的转基因不表达Aire。产生了两个NOD和两个C57BL/6的纯合品系。其中两个NOD品系进行了传代。(来源：J:154359)
