这个TRE/IFN-gamma转基因是通过PhCMV*-1四环素响应性启动子，位于小鼠IFN-g的cDNA序列上游设计的。PhCMV*-1四环素响应性启动子包含了人巨细胞病毒（hCMV）的最小启动子与tet操作子（tetO；TRE）的融合。IFN-g的cDNA序列两侧有40bp的5'和57bp的3'非翻译区，包含起始和终止密码子。为了提高转基因的稳定mRNA水平，IFN-g的cDNA序列中去除了导致mRNA不稳定的序列。这个2.3kb的转基因通过微注射方式注入了B6D2F1雌性卵母细胞中，建立了Founder line 184。(来源：J:94092)
