Tg(En2-lacZ)1Alj

This transgene was made using construct 1 described in figur 1 of the reference that follows. The transgene construct contains a 7 kb genomic fragment, including 6.8 kb of 5' flanking En2 DNA, linked to a bacterial lacZ followed by 1439 bp of 3' En2 genomic DNA which includes 3' untranslated sequence, the polyadenylation signal and 1 kb of 3' flanking sequence. Seven lines are discussed. This particular line is expressed in the cardiac conduction system and is the only one still in existence. (J:4604, J:132789)
