A gene trap vector inserted into intron 2. The endogenous full-length protein is replaced by a fusion-protein encoded by the first two Mena exons and the reporter gene. However, a low amount of endogenous full length 140 kDa isoform protein is found in brain. but not other tissues where the gene is normally expressed. (J:250072)
