米克尔克隆了MHPN312j24(NCBIM37, 133123007-133127471)和MHPP264b06(NCBIM37, 133374577-133383807)，并利用Cre介导的重组技术，在两个位点间生成了260.8kb区域的头尾相连的重复。重复区域包含了HPRT基因，其起始点在Tceal3，延伸至Plp1基因9.5kb的下游。通过半定量多重PCR、Southern blot和FISH在小鼠中确认了这一重复的存在。qRT-PCR结果显示，Plp1、Tceal1、Tceal3、Morf4l2以及BC065397的转录水平在多个出生后时间点都有所增加。(来源：199809)
