这个转基因构建包含一个1.6kb的PCR片段，片段中包含了Atoh1基因3' UTR的Atoh1增强子，后面跟着cre重组酶的cDNA，带有金属硫蛋白I的polyadenylation信号。经过纯化后，这个构建被注入了受精卵。建立了九条奠基品系，并与R26R报告系进行了杂交。三条品系再现了内源性Atoh1的表达模式，两条品系则进行了更深入的分析。（来源：J:149533）
