A MusD/Early transposon family insertion of 5500bp occurred in the sense orientation in intron 8 at position 67552081 on the X chromosome (version mm8). This mutation is found in A/J, A/WySn, C3H, and BALB/c mice. mRNA expression is reduced by about 75%. (J:149430, J:149432)
