An MusD/Early transposon family insertion of 5400bp was inserted in the sense orientation into intron 3 of A/J mice. The insertion is reported to be at position 80121109 of chromosome 2 (version mm8). This insertion is also found in A/WySn. mRNA expression is reduced by about 60%. (J:149430, J:149432)
