这个转基因载体包含了伊维菌素敏感的秀丽线虫氯离子通道glc-1α亚基和增强绿色荧光蛋白（EGFP）/icre的融合肽编码序列，后面跟着polyadenylation信号、内含子（IRES）以及cre重组酶基因，这些基因被插入到小鼠基因组的BAC（Bacterial Artificial Chromosome，BAC）RP23-283B12，具体位置在蛋白激酶Cδ（Prkcd）的起始转录密码子ATG处。这样，报告基因和重组酶基因的表达受小鼠基因调控序列驱动。构建这种转基因品系使用了GENSAT改良过的BAC，型号为BX816。（来源：J:100256）
