ENU treatment of male mice with Mpltm1Wsa on a BALB/c background induced a G to C transversion located at the splice acceptor site of exon 41. This point mutation induces a frame shift after amino acid 1674 and results in the addition of 96 residues and a premature codon. (J:148127)
