将Cdh5启动子区域的2.5kb片段，后面跟着cre重组酶的cDNA和SV40的polyadenylation信号，插入到了pBluescriptSKII质粒中。这个转基因片段被提取后，注入到了C57BL/6J的受精卵中。获得了三个杂交系，所有这三个在与EGFP或LacZ报告基因小鼠杂交时，都没有观察到报告基因表达的差异。特别关注了线1，据估计它含有2个Cdh5-cre基因。(来源：J:121366)
