转基因中包含了一段来自小鼠心脏的磷脂酶B（phospholamban）的cDNA，其中对第16位氨基酸（S16）由丝氨酸替换为异亮氨酸（Alanine，A），第17位氨基酸（T17）也由丝氨酸替换为异亮氨酸（A），后面跟着SV40的polyadenylation序列，由心肌特异性的α肌动蛋白重链（myosin，重链6，心肌，α）启动子控制。替换的丝氨酸和丝氨酸在心肌β肾上腺素受体刺激下通常会独立且分别被不同的磷酸酶进行磷酸化。Northern印迹分析显示转基因小鼠心脏中检测到了1.0kb的转录本，定量免疫印迹则显示心肌中磷脂酶B蛋白的量是野生型的1.8倍。（来源：J:144920）
