The gene trap vector pT1betageo, which contains a promoterless lacZ gene, was inserted downstream of exon 7. The absence of exons 8 through 15 in the transcript was confirmed by RT-PCR on E11.5 whole embryo, E13.5 head and E15.5 head extracts. (J:145164)
