K14-GDNF转基因包含了2.3千碱基的人源K14角蛋白启动子序列、小鼠GDNF的cDNA以及人类生长激素基因的内含子-外显子剪接点。通过ELISA检测了成年GDNF-OE转基因鼠和野生型鼠皮肤、神经根（DRG）、脊髓和血浆中肽水平。结果显示，转基因皮肤中GDNF蛋白水平增加了六倍，DRG中为4.23倍，脊髓中的含量增长了2.67倍，这表明GDNF从DRG向背根神经节有前向运输。而在野生型和转基因动物的血浆中未检测到GDNF。（来源：J:76684）
