Germ line, cre mediated recombination was used to remove exon 11 (exon 10 in legacy nomenclature numbering). Absence of full-length transcript expression was confirmed by RT-PCR on lung and intestine extracts. Expression of a smaller than normal transcript is observed. (J:142723)
