Tg(Plp1-Nfasc*)1Brp

The promoter was used to drive expression of modified cDNA of Nfasc 155 that encoded amino acids 1 to 1073 (including the extracellular domain, transmembrane segment and only 13 of the 110 cytosolic amino acids) fused to a FLAG tag in oligodendrocytes and myelinating Schwann cells. A line with robust expression levels was used for further research. (J:107591)
