The insertion of Velocigene cassette ZEN-Ub1 created a deletion of size 329 bp between positions 192954751-192955079 of Chromosome 1 (Build GRCm39). The G0S2 coding region was replaced by a lacZ and loxP-flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette and the lacZ gene was fused in-frame at the G0S2 ATG start codon. Immunoblot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in gonadal fat tissue from homozygous mutant mice. (J:136110, J:225236)
