在一段包含exon 3的410bp片段的一侧插入了floxed和Frt的PGK-neo cassette，另一侧则插入了一个单个的loxP位点。通过Cre和Flp介导的重组，exon 3被去除了。免疫印迹分析证实了在纯合小鼠的脑和心脏中没有完整蛋白表达。在纯合子中，心脏中表达的短形式并未受到干扰。(来源：J:138126)
