Exons 3 to 9 of the Hprt gene along with a 5' loxP site and puromycin resistance cassette were inserted into the coding region, to create the endpoint for a 1.3 Mb deletion syntenic to a 1.5 Mb deletion found in chromosome 22 deletion syndrome patients. (J:136969)
