Tg(Nodal-cre)1Rob

Transgenic mice were generated with Cre recombinase expression under the control of the 2.7 kb Nodal node enhancer sequence. The transgene directs Cre expression in the node beginning at the 0 somite stage, but lacZ reporter expression in R26R/Tg2.7-Cre embryos is not consistently detected until the 2-3 somite stage.
