The gene trap vector containing a beta-geo cassette was inserted into the first intron. The reduction of protein product was confirmed by western blot analysis and immunohistochemistry of heterozygous tissues. This is a gene trap allele, a reporter allele and a hypomorphic allele. (J:136125)
