An frt-flanked puromycin resistance cassette followed by an IRES RFP cassette was inserted into exon 2. Germ line, flp-mediated recombination was used to remove the puro cassette. The absence of protein expression was confirmed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay on splenocytes. This is a null allele and a reporter allele. (J:136279)
