Heterozygous Alox12btm1Krie mice was crossed with deleter mice expressing Cre recombinase resulting in excision of the tk/neo selection cassette and exon 8. The mutated RNA expression was confirmed by RT-PCR, however, no protein product was detected by Western blot. (J:134709)
