Tg(H2-Aa)26Dim

A transgenic construct containing the entire mouse (AKR/J strain) H2-Aa kappa genomic DNA sequence was microinjected into (C57BL/6 x SJL)F2 embryos. Two lines Aalpha10 and Aalpha26 were generated. Line 26 was crossed to mice carrying Tg(H2-Ab1)62Dim and the resulting double transgenic line was donated to The Jackson Laboratory. The construct was also injected into C57BL/6 embryos to have the transgene on a homogeneous genetic background. Line 46 was established (Aalpha46). S1-mapping shows normal patterns of high expression in spleen, lung and thymus. (J:110897)
