大部分exon 2被替换为一个带有终止密码和poly-A信号的EGFP cassette，同时还有一个floxed neo cassette。通过小鼠的生殖细胞（germ-line）和cre介导的重组来去除neo cassette。通过脑组织的 Western blot 检测，确认了没有蛋白产物产生。然而，没有检测到EGFP信号。（来源：J:132704）
