ENU-mutagenesis resulted in a transition at codon 194 (GAC to GCC) that caused an amino acid substitution of alanine for aspartic acid at position 194 (D194A). Enzyme activity is reduced to 63% of wild-type in heterozygotes and 24% of wild-type in ho0mozygotes. (J:45877)
