Chst11^{Gt(PT-1)1Wran}

The gene trap vector PT-1 was inserted into intron 1 resulting in a fusion transcript encoding exon1 and lacZ. LacZ expression was monitored by beta-galactosidase assay. Expression analysis confirmed the lack of expression of exons 2 and 3 and reduced protein function was monitored by increasing En2 expression. This allele is likely to be a null allele. (J:128547)
