Fasn^tm1.1Sem

Mice carrying the Fasntm1Sem allele were crossed with Cre transgenic mice to remove exons 4-8 of the gene. Germline deletion of the exons was verified by PCR, and gene inactivation was demonstrated by a 50% reduction in enzyme activity in liver lysates from heterozygote. (J:127793)
