Evx2/Hoxd13^tm4(cre)Ddu

A mouse Hoxd11 trangene construct was modified by in-frame insertion of the Cre coding sequence, followed by the SV40 polyadenylation signal, at the start codon in exon 1 so that Cre recombinase is expressed under control of the Hoxd11 regulatory elements, but without any residues derived from Hoxd11. Homology arms were added to target integration to a site between Hoxd13 and Evx2, at the 5' extremity of the cluster. (J:82530)
