在目标基因的第25个内含子中插入了一个FRT引导的neo cassette，后面跟着一个loxP位点。接着在第31个内含子中增加了一个loxP位点。这些转基因小鼠与表达Flpe的 mice杂交，以去除neo cassette，使得26到31号外显子被loxP位点所 flank（来源：J:124213）。
