The pLSABetageo vector was modified from the SA-IRESBetageo vector by the addition of lox71 sequences upstream of the splice acceptor site. The vector was inserted in the second intron. 5' RACE demonastrated that a fusion transcript was generated by the splicing of exon 2 with the engrailed-2 splicing acceptor and betageo. (J:98395)
