将小鼠Lta基因与Ltb的跨膜域融合，并插入含有小鼠Igκ(κ链)启动子和增强子的载体中。生成的实验鼠带有该转基因的多个拷贝，通过κ轻链的增强子和启动子，它们表达出膜形式的淋巴毒素α(LTa)。LTa转基因在B淋巴细胞中特异性表达。(来源：J:73100)
