这个转基因载体包含3千碱基的5'上游DNA，78个碱基的5'非翻译序列，以及832个β-actin基因的首内含子，驱动表达的是完整的人类化学趋化因子（C-C motif）配体2的cDNA，后面跟着SV40的polyadenylation信号。逆转录-PCR分析显示，转基因小鼠脾、胸腺、淋巴结和腹水细胞中的人CCL2 mRNA水平很高，而在肝脏、睾丸、大脑和肾脏的样本中则较低。ELISA检测显示血清中的人CCL2显著升高。（来源：J:118309, J:118310）
