这个等位基因是在Surf1tm2Zev通过Cre介导的Neomycin抗性 cassette切除后产生的。LoxP在第7外显子中残留，导致从cDNA下游第674个核苷酸位置开始的阅读框被打断，接着用TAA终止密码子替换编码N225的密码子。这种框架移位理论上会去掉81个羧基端的氨基酸，但 Western blot检测并未发现蛋白质。(来源：J:117871)
