一种新型的II型早期转座子(ETnIIbeta)自发性地插入了Dusp9poly(A)信号下游1.6KB的位置，位于染色体X的73645160号位置（GRCm38/mm10）。这个插入并未影响Dusp9、Pnck或任何其他基因或非编码RNA。RT-PCR和 Western blot实验确认了突变ES细胞中Dusp9转录和蛋白表达的增加（来源：J:207896）。
