设计了一个靶向载体，目标是替换KI-KII元件（Rr163）的序列，其中KI部分由TCCACGCATGCTTGGA变更为TGTACGCTGCTGATGA，而KII部分从TCCTCTTCAGTGAGGAG更改为AGCTCTTCTAGACTGA。插入了LoxP位点，环绕着包含长J-C K生殖细胞转录起始子的4kb区域，该区域位于KI-KII元件的上游。后续通过Cre介导的重组，这个序列被删除了。（来源：J:110775）
