A truncated gene was created by the in frame insertion of a neomycin resistance cassette into exon 16 at amino acid 1358. Northern blot detected a longer transcript than wild-type, indicating the correct insertion of the neo. Western blot failed to detect a Myst3-neo fusion protein in mutants. (J:108453)
