A PGK-neo resulted in the deletion of 1.3-kb consisting of 199 bp of exon 1, all of intron 1 and 168 bp of exon 2. The deleted sequence included the ATG and most of the cyclin box motif. Northern blot confirmed absence of transcript in mutant livers. (J:106007)
