A 3' part of exon 2 and all of intron 2 have been replaced by a neomycin resistance gene. Western blot analysis of thymocytes and FACS analysis of splenocytes from homozygous mutant mice using rabbit antisera against the extracellular domain detected no LY9 (CD229) protein on these cells. (J:105482)
