Nt5etm2Jsc等位基因通过Cre介导的裁剪，去除了floxed exon 2和neomycin抗性基因。RT-PCR检测到的转录本长度与野生型相似，但新exon 1到3的接头处发生了框架移位，导致在第一个外显子后翻译即终止。 Western blot中未检测到蛋白质。(参考文献J:102299)
