在第4个内含子中插入了含FRT和loxP座的pgk-neo，3'端还有一个loxP。接着在第3个内含子中插入了另一个loxP。与表达FLP重组酶的 mice杂交后，移除了pgk-neo，留下一个含exon 4的转基因。exon 4编码整合素I样域。通过Cre介导的exon 4删除将导致翻译框架移位，产生一个早终止密码子。(来源：J:102190)
