A mutation introduced a seven amino acid deletion in exon 17, thereby removing the PDZ ligand. Protein was detected in mutants when raised by an antibody against the last 80 amino acids of the C terminus, however, not when raised by an antibody against the last 20 amino acids. (J:101578)
